The house and the surroundings
The house fits 6 people. The house is smoke free and no animals allowed. It’s possible to arrange two people to sleep in the unheated annex but only when it’s hot outside. There are three heating devices in the house (woodburner, electric radiator and heat pump) and it’s therefore also possible to rent in the winter period.
The house is situated on a blind alley in a huge forest area and is therefore very quiet. The area is filled with lots of small footpaths where the beach and Limfjorden is only 1,6 km away. The beach is family friendly with low water. It’s possible two places to walk under the grand highway so you and your kids are safe.
A small thriftshop, Trend inn and The Stone age center in Ertebølle is located within short distance from the vacation house. Our Queen Margrethe and her family have a vacation house located in Trend close to the house and within 3,6 km, you can shop in Superbrugsen, which is situated in Overlade.
If you’re in need of peace, you can get on the ferry and visit the carless island Livø. The ferry port is located 7,4 km away and the trip is about 20 minutes long. Close by the ferry port, is Landal-Rønbjerg holiday centre situated where it’s possible to swim, bowl, play in the children’s lounge or receive wellness treatments.
The local fishman is located in Rønbjerg, which you have to visit!
If you would like to play golf, then there are several golf courses within short distance and in May the tournament “Made in Denmark” is played in Gatten by Farsø.
Farsø is located 15 km from the house. Here you will find great opportunities for shopping and you can even visit Johanne V. Jensens museum, who is an Danish author. In the opposite direction you will find Løgstør, which is also located 15 km from the house, here it’s possible to shop as well as go to museums and participate in the local activities.
If you want to visit other parts of Jutland, we can mention Viborg 53 km away, Aalborg 60 km away and Fårup amusement Park 62km away.
